During our trip to Navarino, in the Chilean part of Patagonia, we will follow the same approach as in KilpisjƤrvi, Finland, alternating between visits, interviews and a residency all throughout a month between December 2021 and January 2022. The residency of two weeks will be in the Omora ethnobotanical parc (Parque Etnobotanico Omora), located in the biosphere reserve of Cabo de Hornos on the Navarino island.
There we will collect our second set of bipolar bryophytes (see bipolar mosses) samples, and create cybryonts charged with documenting in real time the growth conditions of bipolar mosses in their natural habitats.
